A delicious and simple veg paneer recipe- “PANEER POSTO ” (a quick dinner recipe)

The recipe is very simple and easy to cook with minimum ingredients. This is one of the delicious vegetarian recipe. This can be served with hot roti, luchi and paratha.

Ingredients –

  • Paneer – 300gm
  • Poppy seed paste – 1tbsp
  • Cashew – 15-20pcs
  • Raisins- 20-25pcs
  • Char magaz – 1bsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Oil- 3-4tbsp
  • Water – as required

Time required for preparation – 10mins

Time required for cooking – 15mins

Procedure –

  1. Heat oil in a cooking pan.
  2. Cut paneer in cubes and sprinkle salt in it. Mix them well.
  3. Sauté the cubes and remove them from the pan.
  4. Make a fine paste of raisins, charmagaz and cashews.
  5. In the same oil, add jeera and dried chilies.
  6. Add the cashews paste and poppy seed paste.
  7. Add some water and mix thoroughly.
  8. Now add salt and cover it to cook for 4-5mins.
  9. Then add the paneer cubes in the gravy and cook for 3-4mins more.
  10. Our white gravy paneer / paneer posto is ready to serve…
